FRUITOPAK

Fruitopak, a subsidiary company of Fruitorama, was established in October 2003 and supplies major supermarket chains with fresh pumpkin that has been cut, shrink wrapped, and labelled to their specifications. The processing operation is located at Pooraka , South Australia , adjacent to the Adelaide Produce Markets.

We are able to supply supermarkets all year round; using local supply from January to June. Pumpkin is sourced from Interstate between the months of July and December.

Fruitorama has been supplying pumpkin to the produce market since its incorporation in 1974, and have formed long-term relationships with growers throughout the country. This is why we can guarantee the quality of our produce.

Fruitopak is currently trialling other produce lines such as Cabbages and Cauliflower, following the success of our pumpkin business.

Freshly cut produce is an easy, cost effective way for supermarkets to provide customers with convenient quantities of vegetable lines. Our research has indicated that on average households have become smaller and people are demanding smaller quantities without compromising on freshness or quality. That is why we supply our clients with produce that is cut the very same day.

All transportation is done via Refrigerated Vehicles and all aspects of our operations comply with strict Quality Assurance criteria.
